JPN 102 PE Final Reflections

Activities Reflection:

• Anime: I met my goal of watching anime every week and shadowing various phrases.
• Self-study: I met my goal of self-studying via Anki (with text-to-audio) and frequently do extra Dict-a-Conversation practice in the activities manual.
• Language table/office hours: My goal was to attend office hours or the language table at least once a month. As predicted, I did not go before I completed my thesis. However, once I finished it (end of March), I went to the language table every week. I felt like I got a lot of good speaking practice! I did not go to office hours ＾＾；

Goals Reflection:

• Fluency: I think my fluency and speed have definitely improved when I am reading. The OJAD PE practice this semester really helped with that. I feel like my ability to have conversations on the spot is sort of still at the same level; utilizing new vocabulary and grammar structures is always difficult, but I definitely feel that I am having better conversations using older grammar structures/vocab.
• Intonation: I think my intonation has improved a lot this semester. Although I still make mistakes, I've found that it's easier to catch my mistakes, and I make less mistakes overall!

卒業

今四年生だから、すぐ卒業しますね。卒業式は六月六日です。ろんぶんもう終わって、一週間後でさいごの授業があります。三週間ぐらい後でさいごのしけんがあります。しけんが終わったら、カリフォルニアに「Fanime]をしに行きます。「Fanime]で、私が描く絵のプリントをうったり(to sell)、プリンストンにもう卒業した友達に会ったりします。カリフォルニアを楽しみにしています！
卒業式後で、家に帰る予定です。そして、仕事が七月に始まるから、六月の第四週にジャージーシティに行こうと思います。ジャージーシティのアパートにすむ予定です。ジャージーシティの方がニューヨークより安いからです。でもニューヨークの方がべんりだと思います。
日本に行きたいけど、その間に旅行の計画がありません。夏コミケットに行きたいけど、夏コミケットは八月にあって、その時に仕事をしなければいけません。新しい会社員だからです。ざんねんですね…でも夏はとても熱いから、ほかのきせつに行った方がいいと思います。来年ぜひ行こうと思います！！
この四年はみじかかったと思います。ほとんどのプリンストンの思い出はいいです。日本語の思い出もいいです。プリンストン、四年間ありがとうございました！みなさん、日本語のブログを読むありがとうございました！絵のブログもありますよ→★。
